PCBOWL is a simple bowling simulator which is presented in CGA graphics mode. You choose the number of bowlers (1-4) and then take turns bowling. You simple position your bowler and press Enter to throw. The ball always goes in a perfectly straight line without any randomness so it's easy to line up your shots. You can also curve your ball after the fact by pressing Left or Right. Due to its simplicity it's pretty easy to get spares so that removes a lot of the challenge and replayability.PCBOWL - Electron Lanes is a quirky and entertaining DOS game that combines elements of bowling with a sci-fi, futuristic twist. Set in a world of electrons and circuits, this game takes place on a glowing, digital bowling alley known as the "Electron Lanes." In the game, players control a ball that rolls down the electron lanes, aiming to knock down pins that are strategically placed on the lane. However, unlike traditional bowling, the lanes in PCBOWL are not straight, and they may have obstacles, curves, or hazards that make targeting the pins more challenging. The ball's movement is affected by the layout of the lane, and you must use precision and timing to guide the ball to the pins. The game features vibrant, retro-inspired pixel graphics and an electronic soundtrack, immersing players in a futuristic atmosphere. It's easy to pick up and play, but as you progress, it becomes more challenging with the introduction of new lanes and obstacles. With its fun concept, smooth gameplay, and creative setting, PCBOWL - Electron Lanes offers a refreshing take on the bowling genre, perfect for fans of retro arcade games and those looking for a lighthearted but engaging experience.
